Whats up people. I have a 91 Caprice Classic LTZ. I was wondering what type of oil should i use. It has 200,000 miles on it. Should I use High mileage 10W-30,40 or what? I'm not sure.

Jug or bottle I would use [couldn't resist] they say there is something to those oils but they are trying to sell you oil so if it ain't burning it keep on using what your using you wouldn't change the beer you drink so be nice to your chevy don't change it's used to it too!!!!!

I use low cost 10W_30. I used to use Quaker State and Pennzoil, when they were low cost, but they got expensive (same stuff, higher price, probably) , so now I use Walmart 10W-30. I have 368,000 miles on my 1985 V8 305, so the cheap oil must be OK. I always change the oil and filter every 2 to 4 thousand miles.

I agree with RageCage. I, too use WalMart oil in all my vehicles, (used to use other national brands but their cost is ridiculous now.) All oil must meet minimum government standards to be sold, so any oil you buy in the store would be okay. Just make sure you keep up with the regular oil AND filter changes as that is more important to keeping your engine healthy. I've also used store brands that Autozone sells, as well as their brand of tranny and brake fluids, without any problems.
