Dont know where my other thread on this is, but starting another 1. For anyone that doesnt know, this started as a 1940 ford truck by Monogram. I chopped the top, suisided the doors, widened the fenders, swapped the stock bed for a narrowed ford ranger bed, shaved most everything, and a custom double louver hood. I swapped the wheels for the billet style wheels from the Revell Escalade kit, wrapped in revell civic rubber. Had to trim small ribs off the escalade wheels so the tires would fit proparly. Also sports a 1-off aluminum frame, out of K&S aluminum stock hand bent by me.

this pic shows how snug the frame fits inside the body

Oh, hey, where did you come from?! I thought you had completed this thing, are you just tearing it up and going at it again or am I just dumb? Really lookin' forward to seeing progress on this, looks hot and is probably my favorite project of yours.

Thanks everyone for the commments. Today, I painted and assembled the block, trans and some small motor parts. Im going with a HEMI 426. Block is blue. Motor is getting fully detailed, and I mean fully!

MINIDREAMS_ as far as wheels selections go, Im using the split 6 spokes from the revell escalade kit. Ithink they fit well with the widened fenders.

speederz- Now thats a nice ride! The thing that catches my eye the most about that build is the interior. I have never seen seats like that in any other kit. So that leads me to think those are custom also. Might have to go that route, thats the style int im looking for. I also might build a removeable motor cover like in that build, but when removed, it will reveal a highly detailed motor. All decked out with photo-etched pieces!

Again, thanks for all the feedback! Keep it comin, and ill keep progress comin! :bananasmi
