has anyone ever try this? After workoutss, before? It says its 100% pure whey protein concentrate and hydrolyzed whey protein, low carbohydrate forumula. Chocolate flavor :D

Has anyone tried this product or have any information about this? Because this is what I do, I wake up around, eh 5:10 am. I go and take a shower, change into my fb clothes, make my lunch, and drink some of this. 8 Oz of milk and 2 scoops of whey. The milk is 2% milkfat, by the way. So while im drinking my whey, im usually eating a fruit, apple or w/e. after that I go to my high school at 6:30am and do my work out until 7:30-40 am. After my workout, I usually drink about 16 oz about this whey shake, and an apple ones again. This goes through monday - Friday, skipping thursdays.

Well? Any info about this whey protein? Anything at all is usefull, I just want to know if its worth taking..

So if I understand, your question is how effective is whey protein? It can be very effective, if used properly. I have seen good results from it, but it must be used correctly. The way you've just described your workout schedule, it sounds like you're working out only 10 minutes a day, ever day. You need to increase the workout time, except make it say, every 3rd day. Or at least put the same muscle groups 3 days apart for adequate rest (2 days inbetween workout days). The key is hard & heavy for hour + 3 days of good sleep / rest + protein = good muscle growth. For example, if you were to work out on monday, you would drink the shake about 1/2 hour before you work out, work out hard and heavy for like 45 minutes to an hour (depending on what you're doing) and then drink another shake. And then drink another shake the next morning to give your body something to rebuild with the next day. The day after that it isn't really necessary to drink another.

By the way, mixing your shake with milk may taste a lot better, but water actually distributes the protein better. Milk slows down the digestive process.

i think his workouts are more like 1 hour long (he works out at school). whey protein is awesome stuff. i would recommend making the post-workout shake with water instead of milk and don't eat that apple until after first period or whatever. you want that protein in your muscles as soon as possible. it'll take longer if you drink it with milk or food. 2 cents...

listen, eat the apple before your workout, its a good sugar source for energy, take your shake after your workout and continue to take in protein throughout the day, you need it to build the muscle you just tore up. One before bed is also reccomended. Buy Designer whey, its cheap and very good.

Yeh it does - you'll get user to it. Try mixing in strawberries too. It makes a world of difference. Buy a bigass bag of frozen strawberries and put two into each shake it'll make it taste a lot better.

I thought i wasn't suppose to mix food with the shake?

Well putting in strawberries is essentially just adding a simple carb - which functions as a transport to help distribute the protein. The problems arise when you use foods such as dairy products, or citrus / acidic foods, which can actually break down the protein.
