Vacuum Leak..Or PCV Functioning Correctly..?

This i haven't figured out, today i changed my pcv filter, along with the vacuum hose, proper size, everything fine. I noticed the new filter/hose sucks MUCH harder, with the engine on, and removing the pcv from the manifold-you know when you put your finger on it to test the suction....MUCH STRONGER. I used a Duetsch i believe...?

Anyway, i did notice that with the hood open, engine running..i hear a hissing noise-that wasn't there before the change. I checked every hose/every vacuum hose/line etc. Am i hearing the suction that the new pcv is making...inside the manifold..? Or what..?

I ask this cause this is my first time changing the filter..and maybe the extra suction noise is normal...?
