The studs broke off the front passenger side wheel. I was trying to take off the wheel to put on new tires, and the lugnuts came off with the studs, I went to the dealer, and they say to bring it in, I do not plan to tow it there. too much money. anybody know how to take off the broken studs??? any help would be great. Thanks

The way i usually do it, but it may be differ for your car is that i just knock the old ones out with a good size hammer and then start the new studs and put a lug nut on it and tightned it down with an impact untill it finally pulls into place

what you do is take off the 2 main caliper bolts in the back which hold on the whole braking assembly, then the screws if there are any on the rotor. The whole thing should come off in one piece (caliper and rotor). Then take a big hammer and knock the old studs out. Put the new studs in and put the brakes back together. If you cant get ahold of a stud kit then use a lugnut and a washer to pull the stud through with an impact gun. Put washer on first and then the lugnut if you didnt know. Once its through all the way put the wheel back on. Acctually you can pull the stud through before you put the brakes back on.

OK GUYS, UMM NO.....you can just knock them out. I wanted to put the skunk2 longer studs on and what do you know you have to press the hub out to get them out and put new one's in. unless you wanna cut the shit out of it and you can grind the back of the hub. I don't recomend this you may be weekining the hole thing
