Working on a 1998 S-10, The other day it ran rough, but after warming up seemed to be okay. 1 day later, wouldn't start. Got it into the shop...No spark, no fuel.
I notice Radio has power, but no idiot lights, no turn signals
Check into fuse box, fuses number 4 and 5, 10 and whole bottom row have NO juice ( some are for guages, and both ECM fuses and fuel pump fuse) I figure there must be some common feed for power to these 5 fuses
Start at the battery and start tracing wires, main from batt to Alt okay, 2 fusable links next to alt okay, all fusable links on left inner fender also seem okay
In the old days i would have suspected wire off of starter, or fried fusable link but I only see the batt cable and 1 wire to "S" post on started, (from switch) i figure all power comes from junction on left inner fender and into cab...
:banghead: pulling hair out here, any clues? I was wondering if there was any other fuse or fusable link locations i might be missing before i start tearing into harness and tracing wires (yuck).

The radio wouldn't have power if the ign switch was bad, would it? I know my truck didn't have power to the radio with the ign switch out.

why wouldnt it? for all those componants not to be working at the same time, it would have to be ign. switch.
