Well I dont have the funds for a motor, unless you would take about $53 in change. I do need the splash guard from the front pasanger side if you got one of those laying around. I didnt put all the screws in after I put on my CAI. It came loose on the highway and the friction melted it.

Well, i am not arting it out yet. If no one wants the motor at a good price, i might just fix it. If not though, i'll keep you in mind.

That was a clean car man. Where are you located and how my miles on the motor? Were the axles damaged?

I am located in Raliegh NC, But my car is back "home" in Orangeburg, SC. The engine had almost 140,000 miles on it i beleive. I did a compression and leakdown test at about 120,000 miles and both passed like new. The axles were not damaged, but the left axle boot was sliiping and slinging some grease before the wreck. I did put a new strap on the boot after packing it with new grease and then appied honda bond around the edge. :evillol: It hasn't let any grease out since. Honda bond is the shit by the way. The engine wasn't hurt at all by the accident, in fact i still drive it every now and then to keep it up. The radiator got busted, along with the condensor and A/C lines. Fenders are slightly crumpled and hood is bent at almost 90 degrees. All the lights up front were smashed, as well as the bumber, but other than that, the thing is mechanically sound.

Seriously.... how much would you want for your engine? I'm freakin tired of this SOHC crap.

I would take no less than at least 1900.....I mean for everything, trans, ecu, engine, axles, the whole deal. I really don't want want to part wih it, but if i see the cash, i know my mind would change. The whole car can be had for 3,000. Everyhting interior wise is in imacculant condition, besides the usual door vinyl seperation where it curves.

I feel ya, but for 1900, I can either get a GSR swap with 60k on it, or a b16 practically brand new. b16 with about 140k on the clock plus a leaky axle... not worth 1900... but I understand you not wanting to part with it in the first place. I loved my b16. Hence the reason I want another one :D

Really, the cheapest i've seen a B16 on the web is like 1,700 shipped. LEt me know where for future reference. Oh and the seal isn't leaking anymore, i put a new clamp on it after packing it back with grease. I gaurantee that the engine runs better than any of those b16's with 30,000 miles on it. Remember i work at Acura, so it has all OEM parts (besides the performance stuff) and all the services have been done. I would even go so far as to say i have over serviced it. Hell, if its free why not (well the parts weren't free, but cheap, all fluids are free); you know. Not a single leak anywhere, not even from the cam seals. I am not say any of this to argue or to get you to buy it, i just think its my own pride.:iceslolan:
