My friend's LE stopped running the other day. As it turned out, the feed wire for the spark plugs was shorted out. He only needs the feed wire replaced and most shops don't sell those individually. Anyone reading this forum happen to have an old wire set, pls let me know. Thanks.

I believe the Toyota dealers do sell the wires individually; at least they did on my old 86 2SFE engine. Give the local dealer a call. You might also try a NAPA dealer.

My friend and I went to a local NAPA shop to buy the individual wire. They advised that plug wires are no longer sold individually. Neither the dealer do. It looks like the cheapest replacement set is about $74...

Try calling around to as many Toyota dealers in the area as you can. Some may have some old inventory and would be happy to sell the one wire if they still had it in inventory.

Good luck.
