the more boost you run, the higher risk you run on bending/breaking a rod and or other parts. when running high boost it is always a good idea to upgrade your pistons and rods and your head gasket too. You should sleeve the block while you are at it. If you can't afford that... atleast get a block guard. They are only like $100. Some ARP head bolts would't hurt either. You should also consider getting like an MSD ignition or something else to help burn the extra fuel. A hondata would help too.

not a very accurate response.
the jrsc will be good to about 12psi. a good standalone will solve solve the detonation problem that comes along with the jrsc. a water injection system should be a minimal, if going beyond the 6psi mark. the internal upgrades are not neccessary. the stock ignition system will work great. the msd will not help burn your fuel ;)

your gona need to upgrade your fuel system and you need an engine management system. if you have time and patience goto rcracing.com and look up the calculator for injectors. that will let you know if you need bigger injectors.
pretty much.... injectors, fuel rail, FPR, 2 1/2" exhaust or bigger. tegs could be good for a 3" piping. high flow fuel pump, boost controll, turbo timer, gauges (maybe). and then theres more if ur tryin to built your engine for internals but thats pretty much the basics.

this response is so much worse than than first.
hondata on 440 injectors will be good for your teg. you do not need to upgrade your fpr or fuel rail. the stock system will be more than good. the jrsc does well on 2.5 piping, 3" isny necessary. a boost controller and turbo timer is not applicable on the jrsc. and again, the stock internals will be fine even for the jrsc@12psi. with the jrsc, try focusing on detonation control. as for gauges, a boost gauge should be the minimum.

i was talkin about exhaust piping...you need at least a 2 1/2" exhaust pipe to allow the extra air to excape the engine. and the fuel upgrade is always good to alow more fuel to flow the the hp increase.

The only parts on the stock fuel system that should ever need to be upgraded are the fuel pump and the fuel injectors. The stock fuel rail and FPR will flow more fuel than you will ever need. And he was saying that if you go over 2.5" pipe than you will be hurting the performance of the motor. If it were turbo than yes 3" would possibly be better but for that SC 2.5" is fine.
