4-speed questions

Any of you guys know were i can get a 4-speed manual transmission for a s14 black top engine?

This car is going to the drag strip mostly so I really want the higher top speed, Very rarely is this car going to be driven on the streets.

you'd need to make your own.. i don't believe 4spd manual tranny's for sr's exist. i would think you would know that if you have an upp'd turbo :eek7:

well considering the fact that they don't make 4-speeds anymore (in any company)... if you ever happen to come across one .. it'll be extrememly old and weak (plus they probably won't fit). Like what they said... you would have to make one... good luck w/ that.

I geuss i should have elaborated on my question...I no that they do not make 4 speeds for sr's, but i wanted to no if u no of any 4 speeds that say maybe a 'gag' american car company might make. I can cnc machine an adapter plate and work out the bugs with drivetrain later.

You could use a 4-Spd Auto? If you have a CNC machine of use...draw out some really strong teethed Automatic gears and there ya go...

I know CNC arent easy to use...well its not just draw and bam...but hey if your not gonna see much road time jsut Auto it
