Hey
I am not sure what is wrong if anything with the front end of my car...It feels very mushy and pulls to one side during acceleration and sometimes during cruising...I had gone to NTB to get my new tires and rims put on and they had said that the front alignment was ok, but I really dont think they put it up on a machine, they only drove it...so any ideas of what could be the culprit, does it just sound lie it needs a front alignment? It doesn't always pull to a side, rather just an uneasy feel from the steering wheel and it feels really soft while accelerating...I have also just bought the car and am not use to front wheel drive, so could that be an issue as well?
Thanks

Hmmm. Sounds a lot like the problems I'm having with my car. When I floor it, especially on a slippery surface, the steering wheel seems to turn to the right all by itself. When I'm cruisin, the car seems to wander to the right. And only the right front wheel seems to rub the top and back of the wheel well. And all I have on there are 205/55R15s, which have a smaller overall diameter than stock. Although I've taken it to various mechanics, they all say the same thing. "The shocks seem okay, but go ahead and replace them and see what happens." Or they'll say, "The tires are too wide. You'll need to go back to stock." My guess is that maybe it could be the control arms or some other suspension link that's either bent or worn and need replacement. I plan on going to the Texas Rally in Denton, Texas on April 20 and hopefully someone there will finally let me know what needs to be done.:( Hopefully:(
Are any of the problems I've described similar to yours?

Dunno yet, I'm looking into it right now. What size tires and rims do you have on your G?

I got the set of wheels/tires from a AF member off his 2001 G20 for about...$430 before shipping....The tires/wheel combo had about 2,500 miles on them too

any ideas before I bring it to a Midas shop to have them take a look? It sometimes feels like I am riding on rails, I think it is the steering...I have looked under the car and everything seems to look ok...
any places I should check before I bring it in?
Thanks guys!!
