Hi
I have 1G 1990 Eclipse GS [2.0 turbo ~197k mil] I've both that car few days ago
Problems
- speedometer is noisy - sometimes he showing me different speed on same rpm but usually I hear noise from that area
- clutch pedal angage close to floor
- when I backing up my rear breaks "skueks"
- sometimes to start engine I need close/open doors {I've turbo and previos owner said that before I start engine I need to wait until turbo gauge will be on 0 and all lights turn off - I follow that procedure every time. Before I start engine I wait till lights goes off and I do that with open doors cuz of automatic seat belts but sometimes car will not start until I close the doors.
- what is the best oil for DSN with hughe milage
Sorry for my english but I am still learnig it.
Best regards
Pavel

you got an old car with a lot of miles. it is going to make noises. if the brakes squeak you probably need new ones...
as far as the ritual for starting the car... have you ever tried JUST turning the key?
and try this... no, you must do this:
open up Word or some other word processing program.
type out your post
hit the spell check button
change every single word.
copy and paste the writing to the post box.
then, and only then, hit submit.
don't ever post some shit like that again.
and try the oil with the label that says 'for high milage motors'

Maybe it was a mistype but its DSM, not DSN...
For oil I would recommend whatever the car has been using all along. If its non-synthetic, stay with non- synthetic or the other way around.
