I believe the province of alberta, the drinking age was 18..... because when I was stationed in MT, people used to drive up to lethbridge all the time to hit the clubs.

canadian beer tastes just light crappy american beer only it gives you a worse hangover (not worth a drive if you ask me)
and as far as canada's strippers being all nude... I live in the states and i've never been to a non-all nude strip club? what would be the point? you could just go to the beach and see women with their tops off.
oh and 19year old drinking age? My girlfriend was from Potsdam which is a short 10 minute drive to canada and her and all her friends used to go when they were 18.
And to tell you the truth as I remember it its really not so hard to get into bars underage anyway... definitely not worth a long ass drive.

Definitely Keith's, and Kokanee. Two best beers here, and you only have to be 18 to drink here in Manitoba.
I love Koke. That stuff is SO good. It's the kind of beer that I would have sent to me if I went overseas, I just love it that much.

didn't mean to offend anyone... maybe I should rephrase.
All the canadian beer I have tried which are limited to those imported to the states and a few I tried while in the area were not very good. they seemed to be no better than the over commercialized tasteless water that Anheiser-Busch pushes on us here.
Now in your defense I'm sure that canada has some better beers than those I tried just as the US has much better beer than Bud and all its derivatives. BUT when someone not from here thinks of american beer I'm sure that they think of bud or coors or something like that jsut as when you think of canadian beer you think of XXX or labbatt. anyway you get my point. everyplace has good beer its just a matter of finding it and more than likely if this guy is going bar hopping for his 19th birthday I doubt he will find them.
