I was driving my car tonight and I floored it and it sucked my right back into the seet, but then all of a sudden it felt like i lost all power. Then I just let off the gas and pressed it again and it kept driving. But everytime i floored it 2 or thrree times after that it did the same thing. It almost seems like spark blowout but I dont have mods? Stock TT. Any Ideas? Also I have a matirx intake filter. Does it require any maintenence? Oil? how long does it last? PLease help! Thanks!

It wouldn't have anything to do with the filter...you may want to clean that every 10 thousand miles or so, but that wouldn't have anything to do with it.

2 most common things that I would think of:
1) plugs may need to be regapped, just because you don't have any mods, doesn't mean you can't get spark blowout
2)Check the terminals on your battery. Make sure they are tight.

Yeah thats what I figured I havnt changed the plug son it yet so it could just need a tune up. And I had that problem with the batter terminals already where the positive terminal was just haning there and it kept stalling. Thanks for the help.

If you keep on it, does the power kick back in after 2 or 3 seconds?
