crank will pretty much take anything you can throw at it. axles, gator axles are good. lsd qauife is hte best. for valvetrain, ferrea is the best.
how much power do you plan on making ? is this going to be a track car or a daily driver or whatevers ?

well this setup would easily put out 300+ hp, and i would like to keep it as my daily driver but it wouldnt kill me to buy another car for that. Basically depending on how much i boost it will determine how often i drive it, so i may keep the boost low for daily driving.

you dont really need cam gears if your running aftermarket cams on a turbo unless you want to get every little extra power out of it but then again all you gotta do is turn up the boost.
if you want to be top dog of your town on the street, 400whp might be difficult to handle on the street traction wise, 300whp is alittle more manageable on teh street

yea those are both good points. Im gonna try my best to keep it street drivable, but i definately see how it might be a little tough

An HKS manifold is flanged for a small T25 turbo with no external gate.
Crower turbo cams are a waste of money.
Skip the Skunk2 manifold and get an Edelbrock VictorX.
Bigger injectors than 680's.
What about a fuel pump?
What about motor assembly?
What about tuning?
What about a clutch?
What about tires?
What about brakes?
What about gauges?
See where I'm getting at? That list you have is around 8700 dollars right now. Figure ATLEAST 15K to get a setup like that totally put together and running. My advice? Put a stock B18 in the car. Get used to how fast that is. Turbo the stock motor. You'd be suprised how fast 280-300 WHP is. My LS @ 300 WHP didn't have a problem pulling on Z06's from a kick.

450ccs are good for 300whp. i think 680cc's will be good for 400whp. would be close to maxing out though. maybe bigger than 680cc's would be better for 400whp
for only 400whp there alot of things on that list you dont need. sleeved block. keep it 81mm bore on stock sleeves, they are handle 400whp. crowers are really expensive but good rods, for 400whp a set of eagle rods will be cheap and handle the 400whp you plan on making
i dont think an edelbrock would be the best choice for a street driven car. i think the skunk2 would give it a overall better streetable power band

There is a bit of a drop off in power with the VictorX, but the 30 WHP you'll gain on the top end is well worth it. I helped install it on a buddies ITR and the before and after was unreal.

its up to him if he wants to top end power of the victor x or he wants a more overall powerband. i mean i would go with the victor x myself but everyone one is different

i appreciate all that, and im starting to think ill do what you said and leave the engine stock, for now at least. still not sure if i wanna screw myself over financially for the next couple years by taking out a loan

www.hmotorsonline.com has great customer service.
A stock GSR block with a decent sized turbo like a T3/TO4E 57 trim will reliably take 8-10 pounds of boost, or around 300 WHP.

your on the right track. that is going to be a big loan. i personally would never take a loan out just to put some extra power on a vehicle, but, thats just me. my experiences with SC and turbo is that, they always bring other unforseen cost. something to think about when pulling out that loan.

Yea i planned on $13-15k. I think that im gonna take that advice and leave the engine stock, and not go overboard yet. I dont wanna make that leap from my stock civic. I think it would be better for me too so i can learn a little more about tuning and how everything works. Im thinking ill just buy the engine and boost it for now, then see how i feel then. Maybe by that time i wont even care about having more power
