Brakes on 2001

What is with the front brakes??? I have had this happen a couple times now...apply brake as coming up to a stop sign and they don't grab....you can actually feel them sliding and the van keeps going...very scary! I just had a safety inspection done & all brakes were good??????

Maybe the brakes are grabbing OK and the tires are sliding on the road. Are your tires in good shape?

I had similar moments with my 2000. I replaced the brake pads with Performance Friction Z-Rated pads. I've never had a problem since. Improved braking considerably.
