Wheel Gap.

Okay. Does anybody have a 92-95 civic hatchback with 17s, lowered, with a body kit, with minimal wheel gap, and not have trouble driving it with regards to speed bumps and scratching? If so, what kit and how low? I've been looking at a 1.5" drop with a Kombat body kit.

Honestly I dont think you will get a straight answer on that, from a suspension standpoint, if you are using lowerimg springs on a shock with low compression rates then there will be a lot of travel at low speeds, I scrape my exhaust my front bumper frequently lower about 2 inches adding side skirts that are 5" or less from the ground could be a problem IMO.

But then again I am not the body kit guy.

Would having 18" wheels give me more clearance and less wheel gap?

ya, but the ride quality would deteriorate significantly......and 18's look too big on civic hatchs unless you have a gigantic kit
