I am having trouble with my 2002 Durango. The keyless entry stopped working, the dashboard control panel has the security light on as well as the engine light, the wipers will not work on intermittent, the head lights will not work, and I got a computer code of 0132. This is the second time similar things have happened. The first time the 4 wheel drive/All wheel drive panel light also stayed on. I loosened the battery cables for a couple of minutes and things were fine. This time however, that doesn;t work.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing all these strange happenings?

iwould say that your central timer module is either no good or locked up. Pull your plastic trim at the left of your feet and behind there you will find a timer modual try disconnecting the 3 electrical connectors for about 5 minutes and see what happens

Your problems sound a lot like mine. My remote quit working then I found that the headlights, map lights, intermittent wipers, radio volume on steering column all would not work. The horn is even honking by itself sometimes. Everything else works OK. As soon as I disconnect the battery and reconnect it, everything works again. I do not get a check engine light or error codes. Everything that I have seen on the internet forums makes me think that the central timer module is probably the problem, but I haven't changed mine yet. Am currently looking for a source other than the dealer.
