trying to play gt4

i just bought the game and now my ps2 keeps doing its disk read error crap.
Anyone know how to fix it? Im so anxious to play it and ive already cleaned it, and tried to adjust the laser.
Sony wants 75 $ but i almost mine as well buy a new one.

make sure the disc read speed is normal, fast will cause this
