Hi everyone,
I need some help, does anyone know how to change a wiper motor on a 1994 convertible camaro.....3.4L v6.
I took it to the dealership and they said it needed a new motor and wanted $700.00 to fix it :screwy: .
I got a motor, I just don't know how to put it in..........any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

i think that you just need to remover the bolts from the housing and swap them out. probally a 15 minute job at the most

Thank you tacoma man,
Do you happen to know where it might be located at in the motor?
Thank you once again.

i dont belive its on the motor i changed mine out on my 91 305 tbi and it was right there on the drivers side of the firewall right next to the power brake booster...should be a simple swap, i did have to remove the screen in front of my hood though to loosen the nut on the wiper arm to free it from the motor....oh and make sure u look at the old and new motors real good cause i turned my old one back in and forgot to take a lil piece off and had to go back and get it to get it to actually work right...lol

It's not a 15 minute job. The wiper arms are the hardest part of the whole deal. I had to fab up a special tool to get my wiper arms off.
$700 is crazy, but the dealership charged me $900 to fix my 93 Z when I had it. They changed the optispark and computer. ouch!
