I4 or V6?

Hey guys, I searched on this and couldn't find much, sorry if its been covered. I am going to buy a 4runner to tow 2 sport bikes on a 6'x10' flatbed trailer and was wondering if I need the V6(I know it can do it) or if the 22re will pull that decently. I am looking for a 92-94ish, if anybody has one, hit me up. Thanks in advance.

Definetly the V6! I just got an 88 with a 22RE and I'm pretty sure you couldn't tow anything with it. I'm looking to switch over to the V6 when I get some more $$.

the v6 3vze sucks - I've heard that the I4 is just as good with better gas mileage. You aren't going to see 'power' and lightning fast pickup either way.
