Does any1 know what atts stand for, and what it means? The ATTS indicator has come up a while ago, and ive taken my car to 2 auto shops, and they have no idea, so i went to the Honda dealership, but left cause they wanted to charge me 90m bucks for a diagnostics test. I was told ATTS stands for automatic torque transer system, and my car does seem like it lacks torque, also how and where i can get this problem fixed. And is it true that only a type sh has ATTS? thanx any help would be greatly appreciated..

atts stands for active torque transfer system and if you dont know what it does ill explain. When you go around a corner the computer spins the outside wheel faster so the car pulls through the corner. It makes the car feel more like a rear wheel drive. Im sure you already knew that but im jus makin sure. And yes only the SH had atts and the best thing is to read around on these forums it states what the most common problems are

Around here (AZ) Honda seems to be the only way to go when it comes to anything regarding the ATTS feature of an SH....

Thanx for the help guyz.... I appreciate it.... Ill look around the forum to to see what alse help I can get, I know this is out of the subject, but do you guyz think its smart to trade in my 97 honda prelude sh with 40k mi. For a 03 rsx type s with 25k mi. Plus 7g's, I'm thinkin about tradin, but I'm just curious what you guyz think... Thanx again.. Oh yea, both cars are clean title... also if any1 is interested in buying a prelude in socal, let me know... I'm thinkin of getting rid of it, I love the lude but I need the cash...

not a bad trade really. rsx's are pretty nice cars. your prelude has pretty low miles for an 8 year old car, make sure you get top dollar for it. the acura is a newer car, slightly faster and handles almost as well as the prelude. but it's more common than the prelude. seems like a lot of people are tradin in their ludes for newer cars these days. which is expected of course.

my suggestion, just go test drive the rsx. the prelude's a really good car overall and you won't be worse off either way. take which one feels better to you and which gets the best deal. good luck.
