98ex/00dx head switch

just to confirm, before i spend $$ on a head gasket. Will a 98 d16y8 head fit a 00 d16y7 block?

this isnt a mod to my car or anything, i blew a rod awhile ago that punched through the block and i just slapped my throttle body and dizzy on a d16y7 to get me by till this summer,but the lack of pick up is annoying and damn near got me killed passing on the highway.

yes it will fit, but you will need to install the same ECu as the d16y8 to the car due to the V-tech. make sure you get the wiring harness also.
