I am a producer at The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, We'd like to interview someone who thinks NASCAR has lost its traditional roots. I can be reached at [email protected], or 212-468-1772

Whatever you do, you have to include a shot of the Garnier Fructis Chevrolet Monte Carlo (it's "Fructis Green")

What about formula 1? The entire car is a phallic symbol.

NASCAR has become very diverse over the past few years; they want fans of all walks of life, whether black, white, hispanic, asian, Christian, Jew, Muslim, male, female, heterosexual or homosexual. You've got homosexual fans in every other sport out there, why is NASCAR any different?

I don't know why this is still open. What in God's name inspired you to drag this sort of drek onto this forum?
It's bad enough that on AF half the posts in the NASCAR forum are aimed at insulting the series for its success/format and the other half are bickering fans. We don't need idiotic inflammatory AND derogatory threads to add to that.
If you are a producer for The Daily Show, I'll thank you to take your "entertainment" elsewhere. Motorsports in this country have enough worries to deal with between thin sponsorship dollars, dwindling attendance, and the gradual erosion of our historical short tracks. We don't need faux journalists poking fun at the sponsors who ARE stepping up to the plate to pay the 30+ million dollars it takes to run a damn Winston Cup team.
Get lost, post somewhere else, and consider that if you run a "story" like this on the Daily Show I'll personally piss in your coffee. Stick to politicians and celebrities. Don't you dare insult professional motorsport with nonsense like this. Better men than you have died for the sport and as someone who genuinely straps into a race car I won't let AF contribute to you disgrace the legacy of greats like Tim Richmond, Alan Kulwicki, Fireball Roberts, and Davey Allison.
