The Downfall of 50 Cent?

After seeing the first interview with 50 Cent, I had to of course(for whatever reason i dont know) watch it.
The first interview I saw as a fairly nice guy. Still giddy about being a sudden star. Seemed to have a good clear focus and care.
The second interview he was a conceited, self-diluted, dickhead. It was nothing but "me me me" and "I I I's". Shit, what pissed me off the most is he actually admitted to not spending time with his son. He acted like his son wasn't anything, wasn't part of him. Arogant fuck.
I am foreseeing the downfall of 50 Cent at this moment. He's gotten to big for his britches. I hate to say it, but he's gonna keep breaking friendships with people because of his 'Me Attitude'. I wouldn't be surprised if this ended in another 2Pac/Biggie type style.

wait a minute...downfall? when was he UP?!
lol, just kidding. i've always hated him. why? because i hate mainstream rap. as big a fan of screamo and hardcore as i am, i have been known to dabble in some underground hip hop, such as Immortal Technique, Jedi Mind Tricks, Atmosphere, Aesop Rock, Dead Prez, Wu-Tang etc.
50 Cent basically is everything i hate about mainstream rap, in one package.

I like very little of his stuff. He has some good beats, but I have never liked his voice. Even when he is featured in D12/Eminem stuff, I dont like it.

true all tho i still like some mainstream "pop"-rap. Just the one i followed from their raising. And then they turn into assholes. Have any of you heard nelly last album where he is makin fun of the fact that $5000 is nothing to him? Well it is to me. Sorry to temporary hi jack. Some of my friends say there is a reason why he was really shot 9 times.....sorry 50 i still kinda like you tho....

the only "mainstream" guy that i like is Luda. while his stuff gets played alot, he doesn't SOLEY rap about his money, bitches, cars, jewels, shoes, etc. he actually has good rhymes and some meaningful lyrics, and some of the stuff he doesn't release is really good. (although his newest album isn't too great)
i also, of course, like Nas, although i don't know whether he'd be mainstream or not.

I like luda too, but chicken and beer was a shit album. and nas is definitely mainstream, but he's still the man.
and 50 was good back before he got signed and he wasn't too bad in his early days with shady, but now i definitely think he fell off. he's kinda like how i see jay-z. he was the man early in his career, but now that his head's all big, they think they're infallable and can just bank off their name. They aren't giving it their all like when they were trying to become famous. and the cockiness they spit out disgusts me, all that nice shit they're buying and rapping about is from my money i spent buying their cd, concert ticket, t-shirt or whatever.

Have you heard a lot of Kanye? I have to represent Chi-town, but this guy has great beats and a real nice flow.
A slightly less mainstream, however still popular and amazing rapper, is Mos Def. And his underground partner in crime, Talib Kweli. Amazing rappers, rapping about humanity and race and stuff that truly matters.

i like Talib, but i heard The Eternal Struggle wasn't that great.
and i like some Mos Def too. Kanye...eh. he's ok i guess. i also like older Mobb Deep (they're getting a bit too mainstream now) and some older Twista too, especially his colaboration tracks with Luda (Freaky Thangs).

The downfall of 50 started last year.... he was booed off the stage at hot97s Summerjam, which is like the biggest hip hop show in america. All the concerts he shows up at he gets bottles and shit thrown at him till he leaves the stage. He actually took off his shirt, jumped in the crowd and started fighting with some guy that threw a full drink at him at one concert he was featured in

It's already started....he's dropped The Game.
My friend saw this on tv(think he said MTV) and said that Em and Dre are trying to straighten things out b/c he's becoming too reckless.

I heard about that when I was on my way home from work. I was like damn.......50? Game? I feel bad about having the new ablum now. He is still taking shots at ja rule on "piggy bank." Damn there is prolly something we don't know about the whole situation. Here they replayed the hot 97 interview with 50. and I was like damn.

i heard that game just doesn't want beef with all the people 50 cent is starting shit with, like jadakiss and nas, people who would school 50 lyrically, and 50 booted him for not standing with him.
Game will get another contract somewhere, but 50's career is over.

the game will get a contract with dre or em, but if his work ethic is like 50 said it was, he won't

Opps sorry. i search your post to verifiy your age. if you are 21 why did you say you were 13 in "the real name and age" thread? Why were you born in 1991? by the way I am young too. I am definetly not old. And like i said it was your opinion as well as it were mine.

and did ya'll see al sharpton on the news the other night talking about violence in the music industry?
though i dont care for most of sharptons beliefs, he does have good point in that violence is not necessary. i've never liked rap and never will. i hate the way they all think thier hot shit and bad asses. they dont make nearly as much money as they make it ou to be. like 5 talkin about selling 10 million albums. his manager and others behind the scenes make just as much if not more than he does. and that shit about his kid. what a dick.

you guys dont see what 50 is doing
50 started out bieng the bad guy, when he made robbing the industry
and thats what makes him 50, hes the bad guy, and because he's keeping the badguy rep, it keeps him fresh
in the hood, everybody wants him to stay that way
cause it keeps things interesting
he's just being the badguy

50 is consumed by money. This is why most rappers are better when they were underground because they weren't corrupted by the filth of money...they made music for the love of it not to make money.
I still like his music, I just hate how he fell victim to what most rappers do

he still does underground stuff tho...just for doing it. but i believe noone is invincible, and there are enough real gangsters that dont care about going to jail for killing the most popular rap artist to hate. i give him a year before someone shots him again. and then hell probably be a legend cause of it. any bets on that?

no bets for me. i think the music industry as a whole is fked up.

somebody might shoot him and he might shoot somebody.
why you think he walks around with a bp vest and a burner on him at all times, even his cars is bp
he's killed people himself, and he knows there's people that want to kill him.
he might be somewhat of a legand but he's only really had 2 big albums
