2004 Explorer Break Job

So, I am doing a routine front break job on my 4x4 2004 Ford Explorer, which is not a sports track and is a v6. I get the calipers off and get all ready to yank my break discs off (rotors) but they won't come off. I must have banged on those things for an hour with a rubber hammer to get them to budge. Can someone tell me if there is an extra bolt or something i need to take off to get them off? Or is there some special trick i should try if they are just on their rock solid?
thanks a lot

I think rhe rotors on this truck are part
of the wheel bearings.

The rotor should come off. Try using some penetration oil around the center of the rotor. It may be rusted on. If you are going to resurface the rotors, get a piece of wood and a shop hammer to persuade them to move. If you are going to replace the rotors, forget the piece of wood. :evillol:
