h0dy all,
A clients machine is driving me CR@ZY!! It has a borked copy of XP Pro installed on the primary partition, which has the file system as NTFS.
It is a Fujitsu laptop that only has a DVD-ROM drive, so whatever I use I need to make it a bootable CD ROM.
I want to format the drive completely and do a fresh copy of XP.
I have tried everything imaginable - from fdisk to convert to custom utilities on the net to making 2 boot disks in partition magic, converting them to a .img file and burning onto CD and NOTHING HAS WORKED.
PLEASE HELP.
Once again, need a utility available on a bootable CD that recognises and formats NTFS parititons from DOS (or whatever OS/files load with the CD).

Scratch that. Just found the option when booting from the XP CD. :loser:

Glad you found it. I was going to suggest that first. Then I was going to give you directions how to LOW level format the drive using Debug from DOS. :p
