Forum time wasting

seriously, how much time is too much time on AF? It is almost addictive to connect to this many people and share thoughts and feelings at once. What are your comments about this?

No..not that. I really meant how much time do you spend a day "researching" on AF? you are a mod..and you (with all those post) prolly work for them. you dont count exactly. But everybody else...?

i spend like 15 minutes
and like 2 hours at AZRX7.COM

I don't get paid to be here :(

But it's not a bad way to waste money (aka the classes i pay for suck so spend that time online at AF!!!)

I come home after work/school and get on AF at about 5:30pm and next thing I know it the next day!! lol. coffee is my friend at work. So there is something good to do on the internet besides...porn....downloading....music...umm...por n.....
computer crashing off pop ups....

Bout 30 minutes at lunchtime. Probably about 1.5-2 hours from 5 to midnight-ish.

im usually on af for about an hour or 2 each day. But i do get paid to be online....so it works for me.

:iagree: ... I'm here about 3-4 hrs a day. As long as I get my work done, the boss doesn't complain.

5 days a week, 8-6pm, manager at a rental company. if im not doing something, i could be on all day, usually im waiting for people to post!lol

I surf on and off throughout the day. Probably a total of 2 hours at most.

You know you've spent too much time on a forum when you've either read every single thread or just continually read threads you've already read and have no new posts.

Seriously, if nothiong a t work is having a hiccup, then I am on throught the day, then at night if I am not doing anything also on so about 6 at work and 5 at night about 11-12 hours. But thats only in the winter, in the summer it goes down alot since I am outdoors more.

I get on usually for like 5 minutes really early in the morning, and then about 1 hour after school, and then like another 1/2 hour in the evening. I have 2 quick launch keys on my laptop set to this and a grand am forum that I frequent, so all I do is walk up, hit the 2 buttons, and I'm on.

AF is NOT wasting time. :)

Having said that, depends on workload. Sometimes 5+ hours @ work, sometimes less than 1.

Plus a couple hours here and there @ home.

I won't be here so much come springtime...

Time killing is more like it.

Well, while I was in SC I spent about 6-10 hours a day on here. Now I will just be spending spare time here and there. Like whenever Im stuck here, (until I get my own car) or until we leave the house to go party.

About what you said though, I think it is pretty addictive to talk to so many people about such a broad amount of things. You can't just walk up to a group of people because you overheard their conversation, and give them your input. That doesnt work in the real world, (not all the time), so its a good place to get to know the other people on our planet. I mean, hell, I sat around in SC for a month and a half, and now theres people all over the world who remember talking to me, and remember my name. Its definitely mind food. I consider 8 hours a day on here (outside of any type of work) is pretty much a lack of any kind of life, but even once I have a life, I will still want to come back and talk on here. Just not as much.

i get paid to be on here... so around 3-4 hours on weekdays maybe 30min on the weekends :smile:

I did have a life outside of AF but I am getting over a girl friend of 3 years so i don't really have a interest in anything. besides cars and racing.

play paintball then. Theres no way you can possibly think about yor problems in the middle of a paintball game.
