check engine LIGHT??!?!?!

alright... i was driving my car last week when the check engine light came on.. it scared the s*** out of me.... anyways after i parked and let it cool down some the light went off.... NOW the other day i was driving home from work and the light came back on again and has been on ever since....

the oil pressure is good.... temp good... no funny noises from engine.... what could it be???? and how can i turn it off???

I think i may have a exhaust manifold leak but if thats the case and the o2 sensor went off... why would it come on then go off for an entire week?

Its a 94' vr4 with 93k miles

There are half a billion things that can trigger a CEL...go to autozone and have them run your ECU for codes. When a CEL comes on, ALWAYS get it scanned for codes, even if the light goes off!
