In its 183-year history, the august Oxford Union debating society has heard the wisdom of Winston Churchill, Ronald Reagan and Mother Teresa. Now its members are to hear from Ron Jeremy, star of 1700 adult films, including Bang Along With Ron.
"Ron is the biggest and apparently the best in the business, so I'm sure he'll have some fascinating stories to tell," said Oxford Union librarian Vladimir Bermant, who organised the event.
Jeremy, who claims to have slept with more than 4000 women, will address the union on Wednesday, joining many British prime ministers, three US presidents and prominent figures from the Dalai Lama to Malcolm X in its archival guest list.
Peter Cardwell, spokesman for one of the English-speaking world's most respected debating societies, said US porn star Jenna Jameson also addressed the union a few years ago.

The only movie i've seen with Ron Jeremy in it is Boondock Saints, thank god. What "fascinating" things could he possibly talk about? I dont want to know.

4000 women is quite a lot. I don't care if Wilt slept with 20,000... which is, yeah hard to count. lets see though... 20000 divided by 365 is 54.79
thats either 54.79 years with one different woman a day, or..
54.79 women a day for one year,
or 2.029 women a day for 27 years.
Or, 4.58 women a day for 13 years.
Now with b ball practice, and games, and traveling, that would take a dedicated recruiting squad to pick up that many girls for him to bang in his time off.
And I don't know about ya'll, but I dont think theres any way those chicks didnt know they were going to be used once or twice and then dropped like a bad habit. It takes a special kind of girl to have sex with a guy, when the last chick he slept with still hasnt made it out the door, and the next chick hes going to sleep with parked next to her in his driveway, and the chick after that is leaving a message on his answering machine that shes running late for her appointment.
I have to assume that 20,000 is an unattainable goal.
I mean... I'm not even half way there yet.
But anyways, 4000 women is pretty much the same as 20,000 regardless. I figure once you've seen 2,000 asses, you've pretty much gotten over the excitement of a new booty. (thats how it was for me anyways).
But, Im sure he could have something useful tell some important political figures. He really knows how to work all the angles on many issues. He could be a motivational speaker too. I mean, after all, he knows about hard times. He knows how to handle himself in a tight situation. He has never been known to hold a soft opinion on important issues. He is a firm believer in standing for what you believe in. It's that "In your face" style that got him where he is today. Straight Up. And as we all know, he isn't the cookie cutter image of what people expect in his industry, so Im sure he knows how to deal with cliticism... oops, criticism. He can provide people some hope when they feel like they are just digging themselves deeper and deeper in a hole. And he can also relate to people who put so much work into achieving their goals... only to bust. Ron is a prominent icon for hope.... in a lot of womens eyes. But this is also great publicity for him. You will hear a lot of talk about "Ron jeremy this", "Ron Jeremy that"... Ron Jeremy will be coming from alot of peoples mouths. Great publicity. I dont know where he gets his brains, but hes done something right.
