Is it a big job replacing the clutch. VW jerked me around saying that the slave cly was my problem for the tight clutch pedal. they replaced that part under warranty. Two months later the pedal is still just as tight and I now have a slipping clutch. Has anyonee ever done this job and did you use a OEM Clutch assy, that's my plans. I have a friend in the parts business, and I am not willing to pay VW almost $800 for just the parts.
This car has 46000 on it.
Also any sugggestins on a manual I can get onn doing this job.
Any info appreciated,

1.8t comes as a package (clutch, flywheel, pressure plate) all bolted and ready to install for 800. Its reccomended to replace all when doing a clutch, especially if its slipping alot because if the flywheel is grooved to badly from a slipping clutch the flywheel is bad. A good tech can get the tranny out in about 1.5hrs..
