In california it would. If you have any kind of check engine light it would fail visual. And since it's an emission part, it would probably fail the emissions part too.

my engine light stays off most the time and will go off and stay off if i turn the car off and on again. It's just that my ecu flashes twice wich means o2 sensor the car runs good.

take the cluster out and pull the bulb out. It should work.......or at least in missouri it would. Also a friend told me that if you put 3 bottles of HEET in your gas it will help you pass. I tried it on my teg and it worked(had a exhaust leak, and no vtec working) worth a try there only like $1.12 or something a bottle.

yep...3 bottles for a full tank. To be honest i put it in and my car passed. I feel it works considering there is no way the car would pass otherwise( no vtec, purge selinoid, large exhaust leak, and wrong ecu...)
Its worth a try IMO.

O2 should be a pretty important factor in dertermining if it passes or not. My O2s made me fail and they're not even bad enough to throw a code yet.
If you're iffy about it, get a new one and enjoy better gas milage afterwards too. :)

its times like this im glad our govenor is female, and democrat, those two factors combined, she cant get her shit together for us to have emissions testings, instead her answer to help with part of a 10 million doller debt (caused by old govener) was to sell all the proporty that was going to be used to test vehicals, lol the one by me is now a bus parking lot lol
