pontiac vibe gt

Just wondering if anyone knows whether the new pontiac vibe gt (180 hp 1.8L I4 mated to a 6-speed) would make a decent car to supe up? Are there any mods available, like turbo? Will I get laughed at more than I already am?

I bet some people will hate on its looks, but i sorta like it (and its toyota brother, the matrix). I've heard there won't be so much aftermarket due to the fact that its something of a "novelty" or "gimmic" car (think PT Cruiser, although the Vibe is much better looking); so im not really sure if there's gonna be so much aftermarket for it. but, if you like the car a lot and you're willing to take a chance on it, i'd say - go for it!

drop a difrent engine into it and work that engine, the sr20det has alot of aftermarker support for it, its 4cyl and can be worked to 700+hp, dont know if it will fit in, but just make it fit, it cant be much bigger than any other 4banger.

i would personally go for the toyota matrix, its the same car, but looks a whole lot better in my opinion (im not a fan of the looks on ANY of pontiacs cars), plus im trying to start a boycott on the vibe as retaliation against "vibe gt-r" they cant get away with such a cheesy trick as to use the skylines infamy to bosst its sales among the rice crowd. i dread the day i hear somebody get out of their vibe with their backwards adidas visor and say "foo' i drive a GTR u dont want none!"

quite afew cars have gtr trims, gran tourismo racing i think it stands for, gti is gran tourismo injected, one example is the lamborghini diablo gtr
im sure theres others, imo i think any car company has the right to have a gtr/gt-r trim for there car
