Service Vehicle Soon Light

I know pretty much nothing about cars, so as I am driving the Service Vehicle Soon light comes on. Is there something that generally triggers this? I have a long drive planned for this weekend out of town and don't want to get stuck.

You would have to get the code checked to find out for sure, but pretty commonly it is from not getting gas cap on correctly. If thats it you would have to go thru a few cylces of starting and shutting it off before it will go away on its own (or you could get it reset somewhere)

Just take it in to autozone or a simliar place and they'll read your code for free. Write it down and we can find out what it is.
