I bought a 'Lot' on Ebay, and it has quite a few nice models, all of which were put together by what looks to be a 5 year old. Paint is brushed on with brush marks all over the hood and trunk, and glue is everywhere. I want to save two of the cars from the trash-can.
So anyway.
Stripping the paint, Easy Off didnt cut the paint so I hit it with some CSC. Defiently did the trick.
BUT
What can I use that will cut through all the glue, I guess I need something nasty and viscous, but will not hurt the plastic.
PS Will CSC mess up clear plastic?

Dot 3 Brake fluid, that will realease the glue, and also doesn't hurt clear plastic. I've stripped many a window in it.
you could also use 98% isopropyl alcohol

Tossing it in the freezer will help make cement bonds brittle, and you will be able to (carefully) break most of it apart. I don't know of anything that will fixed cement marks on the body, though, just sand it and putty it away.
