Pain

Have you ever done something that caused you a lot of pain? Like your working under your car and slam your forehead on the engine or something and it just hurts for the longest time?? Well I did just about the dumbest thing possible. I got pepper in my freaking eyes!! :banghead: THE BURNING WONT STOP!!! I was trying to put pepper on my food about 5 min ago and nothing would come out. I popped the lid open to see if the holes were clogged and I did about the stupidest thing possible, I blew into the holes to clear them. There was a lot more pepper in the lid than I thought. It got in both my eyes and at first it only felt like getting a small amount of dirt. Then it starts to feel like your crying fire. And now it feels like someone pushed a hot cinder against my eyelids. I just did this and yeah its stupid. You can laugh. haha. I kinda think it was funny because of how stupid I just was but STOP BURNING!!!

i worked at a pool store and spilled chlorine and it splashed right in my eyeball. that shit burned for hours and hours. i thought it was gonna fall out. i think i'd have rather had pepper in it.

Yeah. I think its finally over now. Since it is snowing here I just ran outside and held snow against my face. Damn that was dumb. Oh well. I got a laugh out of it now. :lol:

Ive done stupid things like that before too, but I cant remember them right now. I was probably high when I did them. Like when I had to make a slim jim for my car because I was high and locked the keys in it. Then 5 minutes later I locked the keys and the slim jim in it. That was pretty stupid. I think we have all blown on things before and accidentally got stuff in our eyes though. Its almost as bad as biting your tongue for no reason.

every time you blink it just rubs it in worse.

i think the worst example of that kind of pain that doesn't go away is when you hit your shin on something. there's no flesh there to protect it, so when you stub your shin into something...DAMN does that hurt. just like the Family Guy episode where Peter hits his shin and sits there for 5 minutes groaning.

My mom got a papercut on her eyeball at Disney Land a couple years ago.

Dude, next time you get pepper in your eyes :grinno: run some water, put your eyes under it and force yourself to blink for about 30 seconds or so. Will hurt like a bugger then, but when your done it should be okay. This goes for getting anything in your eyes, unless, of course, it reacts badly with water . . .

It had started to rain, so she was putting on her new poncho and when she pulled it over her head one of the edges slit her eye. I felt so bad for her.

Ouuuucchhh...I just got the chills when I read "the wrenching on it" line.

not really stupid, but just painful. First time i pulled my back while bench pressing. . .omg ive never had back pain like that in my life. I literally could not move any part of my body without it feeling like someone was hitting my whole back with a sludge hammer. I couldnt lift my arms above my chest, i could not bend my back, i could barely walk. I was driving to work and i had to pull over and rest cause the pain was so bad i couldnt drive. I ended up taking so many aspirins and tylenols i think i killed one of my kidneys. That was about a year ago. I still have lots of back pain now, as of this moment i have back pain becuase of it.

after my surgery was a pretty painful ordeal.


i was born with a mild pigeon chest, basically meaning i had a lump of bone that stuck out a bit farther then normal.

it proved no health hazard, but i opted to have it removed simply because of cosmetic reasons. it was embarassing and i was very self consious about it.

so on December 7th, 1999 i went under the knife. they basically cut me open, broke my sternum and most of my ribs and put me back together again.

i was in the hospital for 2 weeks, couldn't walk for the first week, and getting up out of bed felt akin to someone smashing me in the ribs with a cinder block, and took the help of 3 nurses to get me up.

all i'm left with now is a 5 inch long boomerang-shaped scar on my chest, a slight indent where the bump was (an innie is better then an outtie in my books), and, even after 5 years, the general area is STILL completely numb to the touch.

Jayson, I know what you mean. I get knots in my back that disable me like that sometimes. Out of the blue. It sucks dude, Im sorry to hear its continuous for you.

ouch!!!! i think my most painful things were either: bike wreck, the pinky on my right hand broke at the middle knuckle when i hit the ground, bottom bone in my finger cut through the skin where it broke and left a pretty nifty scar... finger is still crooked. got it fixed(ish) about 5 miles later when i got back to the main staging area.
that, or having a tooth pulled... i hate getting shots in my jaw... or when i had a double compound fracture in my right arm.... jeez... i've broken a lot, i wonder if i'm still under warranty.

My worst pain was when my wrist broke about 5 years ago. It doesnt sound like much. I was playing football and i was tripped while i was blocking. the play wasn't past me yet so when I was getting up my right hand was still FLAT on the ground and somebody fell on top my arm. My elbow past over my wrist touching the ground. I fainted in pain

Don't put pepper in your eye. Sheesh, wasn't your mother around to stop you?

Worst pain = bilateral inguinal hernia repair recovery.

Once i was with my best friend, We were in a ATV trailer and his brother took us around a corner about 50 MPG the trailer flipped and out we went slideing off the gravel into a ditch. That hurt pretty bad.

26 hours labor with my daughter, ended up with a c- section.
another c-section with my son. came too during surgery, I felt the pain but could not do a thing. They seen that I came too and put me back out. from my belly button down I have no feeling.

I dropped a big can of corn on the top of my foot and broke it ( my fault for being clumsy)


Thats pretty much it as far as bad pain goes

my brother when i was young wanted me to bench a rediculous amount of weight. i couldnt put it up and he kept calling me a puzzy. when i was totally weak, he grabbed the bar with one hand like some f-ing hero and the bar tilted. the wieght holders fell off one side and the rest came crashing down on my neck!!!!!!!my watch flew off and was crushed by a wieght and i couldnt breathe for a while. he was freaking out!but i was ok in the end. also, i went to sneeze and grabbed a box of kleanex. it was empty and i just sneezed in the box. tehre is powder at the bottom of a empty box and it went in my eyes!i was almost blind for days! stupid!

One time at school at lunch I had some fries with a ton of salt on them, so one of my idiot friends takes the plate its on and blows all of the salt into my eyes. It stung like a mother. The next class I couldnt see anything, and my teacheris like, wtf?

"uh, yeah, I got a plate of salt in my eye....."

I'd say my painliestmoment waas when i was mountain biking and i didnt see a litle cliff so i slammed Both brakes (stupid) and fliped over...did a flip in the air and landed on a jagged rock 20 from the cliff-like structure....the funny thing about it was that literally 10 minutes before in our class i had been learning how to fall (roll with the bike)

After that i couldnt walk and had a greenish blue bruise the size of a watermelon on my hip

Got super glue in my eye about a year ago at work. Kinda feels like a piece of sand paper glued to your eye lid.

Is it me, or does any one not noticed that this happened in a 5 min timespan and yet even with the hot cinder burning sensation in his eyes, he managed to sit at his pc and write up the story for all of us to read.

tabasco in the eye hurts a lot too..........but my most painful moment was getting hit with a baseball directly on the bridge of my nose. It turned all sorts of colors and was swollen for a week.

I've had almost all kinds of hot pepper in the eye. Fallen off a bike countless of times. The most painfull moment I can remember was that I was chopping up some carrots and mistook my thumb for a carrot
