2002 Dodge Durango Problems

I have a 2002 Dodge Durango. It has been having alot of Problems. I have a really loud ticking noise that you here when the car is in drive or reverse. The car also turns off in reverse and I have a hard time getting it back into drive. The car also makes a grinding noise in reverse. I have took it to the Dodge Service for the last month in a half and they say they can't find the problem. Has anyone else had a similar problem with a Durango.
