I have a little over 150,000 miles on my 96 teg and i wanted to know what would make more sense(1)look for a new car or(2)keep workin on this one try and upgrade the performance parts etc.????

Why not just swap a new egine in if your worried about miles

i would keep the teg and do a swap

but isnt a swap thousands of dollars? if i get a new car i get a portion(if not all)of the money from selling my car...i thought that would make more sense than saving up for a swap but i dont know

150k is nothing on a honda. if anything just rebuild it. and if you want good performance and good reliablility...go turbo and run low boost (8-10psi). you'll be happier in the long run if you keep your teg. i know i would be.

Damn here i am seconding kornflakes again in the same day. Put on some forced induction with a good conservative amount of boost (8-10 on a B18B, 6 or less on a B18C1) and love it it till something explodes in another 100k miles and then do your swap, put the turbo back on and hop up the boost to something a little more extreme.

Here is something I had been thinking about a while ago. If i was going to get a new car can i think of anythign i would want that looks as good as an integra, performs anywhere near as well (or has the same potential) for less than 10k plus what i get for the sale of my car and the answer is no.

or option #3, sell it to me!!!!

But seriously 150K, its got a lot more life left in it...

Just give it a tune up, see how replacing some easy parts will make it run much better. Oh and BTW!!! dont forget to change the t-belt if its the original, regardless of the condition!!!
