mother #$#$#$# ICE!!!!!

so im going around the bypass... its a big circle, i usually take it at 40, as does everyone else...well last night it was a little chilly, and had just gotten done raining. i had been driving for about 3 hours prior and didnt notice any black ice or slick spots. so i took it at a normal speed. well, i hit black ice and smashed into the curb... f'd up the front left corner, the tire is pushed to the back of the wheel well, its toe is pushed in, and it has about 2 degrees of positive camber. i just got it toed to the local shop and will get an estimate tomorrow. i just bought the friggin car two weeks ago...

$600... bent the strut, lower control arm, slightly bent the cradle along with some body i guess, bent the spindle, steering knuckel etc. the place is putting in used parts to make it cheaper, but the parts are guaranteed so im not worried. i just hate being in debt.

Swerved to avoid two bicyclists in the middle of the road at 2AM in the morning. Spun out and slammed into the curb. Both driver's side rims have chunks missing from them, front suspension and frame is ok. In the rear though, had to replace rear crossmember, two control arms, hub & bearing assmbly, strut rod, and all the various nuts and bolts associated with the rear suspension. I'm in debt, but the cost could have been worse had I not known of this site...http://www.1sttoyotaparts.com.
