Ok to start, Im not much of a car guy but I have a question for those of you who are. Last night, I was turning around in a neighbor's driveway and, being that it was very steep, on my way backing down I think I hit the exhaust pipe or something else on the road. About 10 minutes later I noticed the engine was making a much louder noise. It sounded like it was the exhaust pipe. The best way I can explain the noise is that it sounded like an early 90's Grand Prix. I'm guessing it was the exhaust that was making the noise. It didn't sound bad, just much louder then normal. Also, I noticed it is loudest around 2000 RPMs so I thought maybe I did something to the transmission. Like I said, not sure what it is, or if it is imperative that it be fixed soon. Lastly, I noticed that not only does the exhaust seem louder, but I can sort of feel the rumble from inside the car, right under the gas and brake petal. Any thoughts to what I did would be of much help. Thanks in advance.
