Engine coolant heater

I just leased a 2005 Trailblazer LT EXT last week, and really love it. The manual says this vehicle comes equipped with an engine coolant heater, and says the cord is "behind" the battery. I don't see a cord anywhere around there. Am I missing something, or is it just an option that I don't have?

The cord is stored in a black "Pouch" or "compartment" on the back side of the battery compartment. It is in plain view. You must open it up (it's kinda hard) and the cord is inside. Once you find it, you'll feel it's the best place ever to store it. Now for the Chevy Silverado Duramax, they hide that one in between the wheel well and the exhaust header and they cable tie it in place. That was lotsa fun to get out.

If you have the window sticker for your 2005, see if you actually have that option. It was something like $35 for it. They don't come standard as far as I know......sure wish they did though.......
