I just recently put on some drag 17" wheels with 205/40/17 Kumho tires. The car is not lowered yet, but when I take a hard turn on a curved road, it seems that the tires are rubbing either from the front passenger side or the rear drivers side. I'm usually going around 45 to 55 mph when this occurs. Any ideas on how to fix this? By the way, I'm planning on getting my coilovers and shock next week.

hmm low profiles?? if you didnt lower the car, there should be plenty of room for the wheel to turn. I had able a 3" wheel gap before i lowered it. maybe its rubbing somewhere besides the fender? stick your head in there and check.

thats an odd problem... it definitely shouldn't be rubbing, tons of space in there.
go ahead a put the coilovers on with a camber kit and get your tires aligned. it could be bad negative camber or maybe a misalignment.

I noticed that the mud flap on the rear driver side is pretty close to the tire, but the passenger side rear mud flap is a little further away. Do you guys think if I took off the flaps, would that make a difference?

I would be wonder why one mud flap is closer than the other. DId it get hit and is it coming off? I might workout to just fix the mudflap and reattach it to the car.
