but i mean honestly, some kids think that geting sponsored is just as easy as asking for money. Uh huh, the people who get sponsored are the guys who go to like 20 meets/shows a year. They have cars that are alot better than a cavalier. Like JeklyNHyde on this forum, his car gets sponsored, but it runs a low 12 second 1320 and get attends alot of meets and such. He was selling a sponsorship on ebay a little while back, he sold like a 2 foot long section of his car, maybe 3 inches high for over 400 bucks, for a single season of 12 events.

... I was runiing high 11s (11.7~11.9) last year and should be very close to 10s this year :)

The eBay auction actually lead too 3 separate sponosrship deals for a total of $1000.

Jayson, for what it's worth, I'm jealous of me too ... I can't believe how this all took off last year.
I actually picked up one more sponsor since that column was written ... you guys can expect to see some new photos of Hyde in a few weeks ...
