Probe Wont Stay Running

Hello everyone I have a 94 Probe 6cyl and it will crank up but will not stay running on its own if I let it idle, I have to keep my foot on the gas pedal to keep it running. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

I had the same problem, car would run fine but not idle. Turned out to be a crack in the hard plastic hose that connects the air cleaner to the throttle body. As soon as I taped up the crack it ran fine. Got a new one at the wreckers for about $6.00 and replaced it and now everything is fine. I understand these cars are quite sensitive to vacum leaks so check everything there.
