Ok, heres the deal. I changed the title of this thread so I could just keep a running collection of all my sketches instead of creating 50 new threads a week. So please, please, please leave feedback, or else I wont get better!

Here's some of the notes I take in school, thought you might be interested:

And because I dont want to make a new thread in Noncar art, heres the rest, even though they arent cars...deal with it :)

I really like the work in prgress of the cathedral. is it something from your mind, or based off an actual existing cathedral??

Great work. Your rims shadows and reflections look great.

And the cathedral... very impressive.

You are learning German at school? Show me your skills!

Good stuff. The cars are good, so is the clown. And I guess all that pinstriping practice helps for the cathedral drawings since they are symmetrical on both sides.

Da--ang dog, I am really disappointed you would do that esp. in Econ, one of my fav subjects. Oh and yes I watch American Idol…hee hee

This isn't the place, nor do I have the time to go into all the details of global econ, but realize it or not you will be competing w/ ppl from all over the world for jobs. I can assure you that Yashi in India is studying his but off right now.

Dude, you need to pay attention in those classes or you won't get a good job to have money to allow you to eat so you can draw cars (and so you can pay taxes :)).

I am joking, but a lil serious also.

Nice art!

You must sit in the back, to not get caught doing all that drawing. Or your teacher just doesn't care. Either way, nice job!

A couple new ones. Lately I've been going through this "early European sports car" phase.

I tweaked the contrast of this one in Photoshop, just so I could get the blacks blacker. I may take it to Illustrator and color it, KARTOONZ style. If only Danny were here...(BTW, this was in my English class) Again, no references, but I was trying to go for a early Porsche 356 look.

http://img95.exs.cx/img95/8620/sketchcarres5lz.jpg

This one is more sketchy. Did this a few days ago in the same class. I think it has some Alfa Romeo, plus a little Porsche, plus a drop of Jaguar blood in it personally.

http://img234.exs.cx/img234/7536/carsketch2res1no.jpg

I have some other ones I have done lately, but no time to upload them now.

Comments welcome as always.

That 356 looks bloated. :D

the second one looks great. I like thge perspective an the crosshatching. It's considerable what you can do with a simple ballpoint.

A few more:

This one is a quick concept sketch I did, with very quick shading. Kind of a crappy scan though. That wierd line through the middle is just a crease in the paper. And yes, I know the far side headlight is angled wrong.

http://img75.exs.cx/img75/4336/concept8zu.jpg

Here's a drift car I did out of my head during an "appropriate behavior" lecture in my Digital Media class. I was trying to work on motion in this one.

http://img75.exs.cx/img75/9274/driftconcept2cz.jpg

Here's a Le Mans style car I never finished. I did it during work.

http://i159.exs.cx/img159/222/conceptlemans0bq.jpg

And finally, this little roadster is one of my favorite sketches I have ever done. I love everything about this one. From the perspective, to the touch of cartoony-ness, to the fact that the very first lines I laid down made the ugliest looking thing, so I redid it all with more aggresive lines.

Comments/Criticisms welcome as always!

They are all cool rides, xcept the lemans one...
May be in your drift car, it should be tilted a bit, creating the effect that the car is sliding(suspensions)

One end of the car is higher than the other! othewise nice sketches!

Great job!!! I love this sketchy-looking ballpoint work. Without an eraser, imagination and coordination are essential.

Really good sketches there. Normally I don't like this sketchy type of style with crosshatching everywhere, but you made it look good.

kustm, i really like your work. it reminds me of Moebius. is that how you spell it? you are very talented. i really dig the fantasy cathedral. that is bad a$$. and the concept speedster alpha jag is wonderful (the bottom hand-drawn one). the style of it harkens to classic fantasy artists. you have an emerging unique look that can be pushed forward with more focus and "pencil mileage."

you are going to school for economics? dude. forget that. pursue illustration balls-out. you have what it takes. in five to eight years hence, with sticking to it like glue, you will be one bad a$$ mutherfker. i mean that with top props.
