Depends on how much horse power you want to make. Anything under a 50 shot you are safe running dry. Anyhting more you must run wet to avoid major damage. As far as brands go I really like NX, and Eddelbrock the best. Stay away from Zex, they use inferior materials, that can cause problems.

haha...nice...NOS 2 fast 2 furious,....yeah haha...JK...i hate people like that...people with 2 fast 2 furious or Need4Speed Underground stickers on their 91 hondas...haha that is some funny crap.
Oh yeah, I wouldn't run nitrous in my car, its too risky for me. I mean I have a cousin who runs it on his Golf GTI and its quick, but hes already messed up his tranny. I dont know if it was related, but im thinking it was. He had to do a whole tranny swap.

Ive seen a lot of kits that only allow you to inject nitrous while you are in 1st gear...is that normal? Our GT's pull pretty good through 1st gear, and I dont think out FWD would handle any more power. I just would like an extra 75 or so HP at highway speeds...i dont really want it to race, just a little Xtra something if I need to merge or change lanes in a hurry.

spray only in 1st? That would be pointless wouldn't it? Only spray at the start of a run?

Eh, IMO that is a waste of money, and too risky for our cars for a simple task like that. why not look for other upgrades that you can do to your car instead of n2o?

its not terribly safe to leave your bottle open all the time (the only way you could use it in traffic). Its also a really good way to get lots of gunk in your lines.

Name one upgrade that will give me the same response as N20 for under 1000 bucks. I doubt you will be able to give me any list at all. Of course i would use a remote opener, and I doubt I would use it a lot. I just want to know it's there should an incident ever arise.

what idiot would hit nitrous in first gear? now that is not safe. if you know how to run nitrous, then its completely safe. there a plenty of guys in 3Gs that have been running 55 and 75 shots for over a year with no problem. thats b/c they know how to use it

Like, when you want to beat a yellow light ion a stop light? Maybe wanna pass the ped's before they cross the street? Is that why you need the n2o? Im sure thats how we get ppl kill or injure, eh? I'm just saying 'IMO' its a waste of money to equippe n2o to our cars just to get out of lanes, if you think about it long enough, why couldn't get out of a lane? Because of traffic surrounding you right? Are you seariously going to use n2o during heavy traffic lol? Or maybe you want the n2o to street race? Now thats a different story, from getting out of street lanes... :2cents: But I dont know, G/L though lol

Ever been driving down a 2 lane highway and tried to pass someone but were unable to because they were a dick and kept speeding up to prevent you from getting around them, and then slowed down after you got back behind them? I have, and it pisses me right the hell off. Or have you ever been getting onto the interstate when it's wide open in front of you and a huge line of cars coming up behind you getting ready to stop you from merging? THIS is what im talking about. Not to zig zag and shit in and out of traffic, or blast through yellow lights. I just wanna be able to hit a go baby go button at like 60mph and have the power i want to do what i wanna do. I dont have any tickets of any kind, so Im not a moron....I speed a lot, but i call is selective speeding...you speed where you know you can, and dont where you know you cant. I think you were just misunderstanding what I wanted to do with the system.

And just a side comment. Im pretty sure that street racing is how we get people killed or injured, eh...

just wait, the fuzz will getcha. and you still want it for the wrong reason. what you need is a bottle of patience. the eclipse is the wrong kind of car to be passing people at a hundred miles an hour or rush along the highway in a hurry. so godspeed my friend, and good luck with those tickets.

Im too good for tickets. I know where the police are at, so they cant get me.. Detector, scanner, and Jammer. All but the detector are hidden, so they cant bust me for the other 2. Ive gotten pulled over b4, but I knew that they didnt clock me so I got out of it. But hey all....i just wanted to ask some questions...sorry if it pissed anyone off.

Screw N2O!!! Just get a turbo, wait for the .5 seconds it takes for the turbo to spool up, and away you will go. AWD is nice to have too.

exactly. the AWD though......... i wish! yes the price difference is quite large, but nitrous is more of a "quick fix" to the problem at hand. but its your car, so do whatever the fuck you want. this thread is ghey anyway. what are we doing here talking about "nitrous". thats soooo 2F 2F.
and rod- watch out for them airplanes. i was comin back from ft.meyers on I75 a few months ago and one got me doin 90. asshole FHP trooper making his quota for the month. errrrr.

First of all I like your SN and your quote at the bottom...classic. And yes, I know about Heli's and Planes....the trick is to weave in and out of lanes so that they cant accuratly clock you from the air. Anytime i see the white lines on the highway i always have my sunroof visor back to look up once and a while. My brother got screwed that way 2...he was uber pissed.

And yes tyrone, although N20 was a little over emphasized in 2f2f, the use of N20 in drag racing in pretty lagit. Pro Mod is a classic example of this. The always anticipated Blower V. N20 is watched closely because of the different ways the HP is gained. Granted they are pushing over 2000HP with N20, and we only wanna get 50-100...it is still a ligit mod to make to any car.

you have a good point. but what gets me is how much it costs to fill the tank. i've read on the other site thats its around $5-6 bucks per pound. that adds up after awhile. but granted, if your using it sparingly.....
