No disrespect to to supervisors but, DON'T send your employees home for 2 straight days and complain about not geeting the work done. You haven't done this here, that there, over there. argh. Who can you supervise with knowing what you or your employees are doing? you can't. And she had the nerve to say our jobs were on the line. Well we can't do our jobs if we are not there.

Dude, I know exactly what you mean. The worst is when they don't pay attention to what anyone does, except for you. So when you are working a shift they ask why this isnt done, that isnt done, why is this wrong, and its like... Why havent you had this talk with any of the other shifts?
I used to work at Sports Authority in the shoe department. Sometimes we would get in shipments of 2000 pairs of shoes, and I would be all alone having to put up displays, price tags, do customer service, fit 2000 shoes into top stock, and keep the aisles clean by myself. Then when customers weren't getting royal service I got yelled at. When shoes weren't being tagged and stocked I got yelled at. When shoes got stolen because I was 6 aisles away helping soccer mom find all 3 of her kids soccer shoes I got yelled at. (admittedly I helped her for an extended period of time because she was a milf in spandex, spreading her legs on the bench and leaning over with her tits popping out, but hey... that was just a good reason to give the customer service I was told to give)
But anyways, I understand what you mean. Sometimes people make it to supervisor just because there is noone better, or they have worked there for 7 years doing just better than mediocre work, so they got promoted. Those people have power trips and dont understand how to do their job because they arent qualified for it anyways. I have noticed that in the 9-5 world, the people who get the most credit are the ones who show up on time, and tell everyone else what to do, even though they never do it right themselves. Me on the other hand, I show up late every day and outwork everybody else for 8 hours and I stay late when asked to, but it doesnt matter because Im ten minutes late everyday, so they threaten to write me up every single day for the whole 6 months I work there until I get fed up with their shit and I quit.
I hate jobs like that. Im getting out of that BS. Im gonna start my own business, I hate working for people.

Yeah, supes can't do something then complain about the result of their own actions; if you send people home and the work doesn't get done, it's your own &*%$@# fault! :screwy:

i just love how hypocritical they are...the moment that one of my friends comes into work to talk to me (while i'm stocking the shelves mind you) the supervisor comes in and yells about me talking to people on the job, yet the other day, one of his friends came by, and they just walked around the store doing nothing for at least 90 minutes.....being efficient my ass
