Has anyone seen or done it them selves? If so WHere did you mount it and The Antenna? I kinda need one for work. But I dont want to have a big bulky antenna on the exterior. It would really ruin the smooth look of the car? Any info would be helpful thank-you

Well I hooked one up in my friends old 95 cougar. I put it in the glove box so it was out of sight but yet, still easy to access and run the cords to. You can get a nice sleak antenna from walmart that's pretty small and not really too noticeable. It sticks to the inside of your windsheild, and the antenna sticks on the outside of your windsheild. Almost like putting one magnet under a coffee table and another on top and moving them around. Only in this case, your using an adhesive to hold it in place. But yeah, I'd put the receiver in the glove box, and run the antenna chord up behind the passenger side paneling to the uppermost part of your windsheild. You'd never tell it was there. Good luck.

i agree, if you ended up putting it anywhere other than the glove box it would look bulky and really out of place.

you could probaly find one at nationwide car radio and spedo repair. at least they can tell you if it will fit.

I ran one in my 98.
I had a little Cobra 19DX2 and I had a 2.5' wire whip antenna that I had match to the CB. I had it on my previous cars and it was a magnetic base, basically what I did was I made a small metal plate that I could screw in behind the rear license plate, and it stuck out a little bit to put the antenna down(you could still see the plate no problem). I then grounded the plate to the inside where GM grounds the rear lights/turnsignals at. I used it on my long trips(which were quite a few) and had no problems the antenna stuck up about 5" past the spoiler. All the truck drivers didn't even know I had a CB and thought I was using a hand held CB(maybe another option for you).
Good Luck
