I have a problem with a 96 Caprice Classic A/C.
A/C clutch would not engage. I tracked it down to a relay on the R/S of engine compartment. I replaced the relay and the A/C worked for about 5 minutes and then it quit again. Anybody got any ideas on what is causing this?
(I gotta get it fixed, step-mother's car!!!!)

Check the pressure in the system, sometimes when its too low, the clutch doesn't engage. Also, check for any frayed connection, because this can sometimes cause stress on electric components, and could be blowing your relay.
