speed limiter

hi i no nothing about cars but i think my J30 has a speed limiter at 90 mph cuz once the speedometer needle reaches 90, my car starts vibrating. it does go over 90, but i dont feel safe my car vibrating.
so i was wondering where the speedometer is and if it is easy to take it off ny myself. thanx

ha, nah there is none. I have seen pictures of kids spedometers going 160.

let's just say i hit the interstate from 40, brought it to 130... from 130-150 took me almost to redline and took me so freeking far down the interstate i passed my exit. Some honda's thought i was racing and couldn't catch me either... scared me shitless because i wasn't used to that speed.

i can verify the 150....only i was doing 149 before i killed her. i dont need to push my limits, so it was back down to the 70 mph speed limit.my j30t was actually very smooth at 149. and it killed my speed record i had previously. i had a 96 thunderbird with 475 hp to the rears naturally asperated. i hit 145 in her but i thought we was gonna shake her self apart fromthe seizures she was having. definatly wasnt made for that speed.

thanks for someone backing me up. i was solo in the car and there's no chance in hell i would get a good picture and still be breathing now.

i dunno about it being a smooth ride though, cause it scared the crap out of me
